X-Rite has launched its MA94, 96 and 98 range of multi-angle spectrophotometers. Featuring the company’s X-ColorQC software (delivered with the units), the new equipment allows automotive suppliers and OEMs to maintain precise colour control in their processes. Based on X-Rite’s MA68II spectrophotometer, data collected with the MA94, MA96 and MA98 spectrophotometers is fully compatible with existing data generated using the MA68II instrument.
The new spectrophotometers add improved data repeatability and a more robust method for measuring fl exible or curved surfaces. Due to its advanced confi guration, the MA98 instrument satisfi es methods outlined in ASTM International E 2539 – 08 as a standard measurement practice for companies manufacturing interference pigments or that use interference pigments for effect paints. www.xrite.com
