Sweden – In line with its €11 billion four-year transformation plan, the OEM has said it will introduce new technologies and a series of “industry-leading” innovations, plus the XC90.
The XC90 will be the first model built on the company’s new SPA vehicle architecture as well as the first to carry its new “design language”, showcased in the Volvo Concept Coupé and the Volvo Concept XC Coupé. The car is equipped with Drive-E powertrains.
Håkan Samuelsson, president and CEO, Volvo Cars, commented: “The all-new XC90 is the first car to be developed by an independent Volvo Cars and is emblematic of the company’s transformation.”
