US - Manjit Singh has become chief information officer and group vice president of information systems at Toyota Motor North America (TMNA). He will work alongside Chris Tinto, group vice president of mobility, and Steve Basra, vice president of connected technology, to enhance profitability and develop digital systems.

"His experience leading information technology teams at Clorox, Box, Inc., and other leading brands, revealed his ability to integrate and enhance global technology programs."
Toyota has big plans for the North American market, and has recently promised to invest C$1.4 billion (US$1.08 billion) to upgrade its three assembly plants in Woodstock and Cambridge, Ontario, in order to prepare for the production of new models that are based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA).
