Czech Republic – Skoda is now producing the new Octavia with local partner companies in Kazakhstan and Ukraine, as well as at GAZ Group’s factory in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.
In the Ukraine, vehicle production takes place in Solomonovo in partnership with Eurocar. The Fabia, Yeti, Superb and Roomster are also produced here on an SKD basis.
The partnership with Azia Avto in Kazakhstan sees the Octavia being produced in Ust-Kamenogorsk, alongside the Fabia, Yeti and Superb models. This production will again be on an SKD basis.
Prefabricated car bodies from the Czech Republic are imported for Octavia SKD production in Kazakhstan and the Ukraine and the assembly takes place on site.
