Swedish manufacturer of precision metal turning and milling tools Sandvik Coromant offered cooldrinks at a bar milled from real ice at its stand. Apart from that, the company, a global player with 73 subsidiaries in 60 countries, showcased a range of products, including the new grade of milling inserts. This new grade enables high metal removal rates and offers superior performance in both wet and dry milling, increasing machine productivity by 20 to 30 per cent. It is designed to work at high temperatures in a range of applications, from fine polishing to coarse milling.
