The reduction of CO2 emission is still one of the key targets for all major OEMs worldwide. In addition there is an exceptional competitive environment which forces all car makers to offer a diversified product portfolio based on cost efficient design and production.
In order to be able to cope with these requirements automobile producers are forced to change existing production processes or develop new ways of manufacturing. The integration of “Remote Laser Processing” (RLP) is one key path to reach the outlined goals.
An overview of existing and new innovative RLP technologies will be presented within this webinar. Complementary intelligent sensor technologies and their application in high volume production processes are also part of this presentation. Current and future requirements are certainly demanding. The RLP technology is a great support to answer challenging questions at future production processes.
New materials and material combinations as well as different ways of joining and future applications of RLP within the body in white area will be presented. All under the focus of mass production at high quality standards.
This webinar will give an overview of a number of processes and production solutions to overcome existing challenges, along with guidelines defining realistic limits for these parameters.
