The EcoRS 30L16S machine can perform rough seam sealing and its shortened arm 1, (800mm long) makes it much easier for the robot to enter the car body, claims Dürr.
It is equipped with the latest application equipment, the EcoGun2 3D. This features an applicator with a lance length of 350mm, allowing it to penetrate deeper into the car body, including into tight spaces, says the company.
Dürr says it has also improved its electric EcoShot Meter piston dosing unit, to make the application of viscous material more efficient. Available in two sizes, this system is suitable for most viscous sealing and gluing materials and covers almost all applications as a standard model.
