Trumpf has extended its range of TruDiode series lasers, with the addition of models with output powers of 800, 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 watts, suitable for welding, brazing, hardening and heat treatment. These industrial-grade diode lasers offer a beam quality comparable to that of lamp-pumped lasers – even at high output power – with signifi cantly lower operating costs. In a three-shift operation, variable costs can be reduced by up to 95%. This is achieved through the-effi ciency diode laser, which can reach up to 40%. The passively-cooled diodes also ensure long life for the TruDiode beam sources. Offered with a modular design, the diode lasers can be easily integrated into existing production systems.
