New options enhance industrial opto-digital microscope systems

With the first update of the DSX industrial microscope systems, Olympus says it has introduced a series of options to increase image quality and the ergonomics of its devices.

The new Super HDR software has been developed to enhance the standard high dynamic range (HDR) function on the DSX100, DSX500 and DSX500i which combines several images taken at different exposures in order to accurately correct brightness variations on sample surfaces.

Exclusive to the DSX100, new anti-halation adaptors use polarised lighting to control refl ection from the LED illumination ring. The DSX100 is now compatible with the DSX-UFSSU motorised stage, enabling the operator to take advantage of the full range of ergonomic automation features, such as the Macro map function.
