Noida, India – Takashi Nagai has been named president and CEO of Honda Siel (HSCI) and Honda Motor India. Nagai, who was Executive Vice-President of Asian Honda Motor Thailand, is the fourth president of Honda Siel.
Nagai succeeds Masahiro Takedagawa, who will now take over as President and Director at Honda Canada.
Over his fi ve years in charge, Takedagawa saw capacity increase from 30,000upa in 2005 to 100,000upa in 2008.
Honda Siel locally produces the Jazz, City, Civic and Accord models, and also imports and distributes the CR-V SUV.
