With a sensing range up to 1.6 meters (5.25 feet), the sensor has the option of light-operate or dark-operate. The background-suppression models provide reliable object detection independent of the target size, shape or colour, says the company. The sensor also features a status indicator, push-button teach and dovetail adjustable mounting bracket. The Bulletin 42KD sensor is IP67- and Ecolab-rated.
