CyberOptics has launched its new SQ3000 3D CMM system, powered by Multi-Reflection Suppression (MRS) technology and CyberCMM, a new software suite for coordinate measurement. The company claims that in a lab or production environment, the SQ3000 system offers fast, accurate, repeatable and reproducible measurements for metrology applications in manufacturing of a wide variety of products.
CyberOptics says its MRS technology can be utilised for 3D automated optical inspection (AOI), and both 3D automated optical measurement (AOM) and 3D coordinate measurement (CMM). It’s claimed the CyberCMM suit provides 100% metrology-grade measurement on all critical points faster than a traditional CMM, including coplanarity, distance, height and datum X, Y.
