Flexco says it offers a number of splicing and transfer point solutions to optimise belt conveyor performance. These include segmented transfer plates, which the company says are designed to accommodate both large and small gaps between transfers. It’s claimed the plates prevent product and foreign object debris from jamming in the transfer, minimising product and belt damage, and reducing downtime.
The company says its air-cooled Novitool Aero Splice Press, which now features the Aero Recipe management tool, is easier to operate, and able to rapidly produce splices. The company also offers various mechanical belt fastening systems, including the Clipper Wire hook system as well as the Alligator Ready Set staple system for more demanding applications.
