UK – Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has appointed Frank Ludwig (42) as its next director of manufacturing.
He was previously director of painted body for BMW in Leipzig, Germany, and replaces Jörg Bause, who has moved to BMW South Africa. Ludwig joined BMW in 2002 as general manager BIW at Mini in Oxford, UK.
The latest of Rolls-Royce infrequent model launches, the Wraith, was announced at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and the model is currently in pre-production, says the company. Deliveries will begin in Q4, it says.
