Germany – Braunschweig Local Court appointed Louise Kiesling and Julia Kuhn-Piëch to Volkswagen’s supervisory board upon application by the board of management, and pursuant to Section 104 of the German Stock Corporation Act. Taking place with immediate effect, the appointments were prompted by the recent resignations of Ferdinand and Ursula Piëch.
Kiesling has worked as a designer in Germany, Austria and the UK, and is a partner and managing director of several companies, including Textilmanufaktur Backhsausen in Hoheneich, Austria.
Piëch works in real estate and has been a supervisory board member at MAN Truck and Bus since 2014.
