UK – Effective November 1, Peter Bosch becomes the OEM’s member of the board for Manufacturing. He succeeds Michael Straughan, who is leaving Bentley Motors to pursue other career opportunities.
Bosch is joining Bentley from Volkswagen Group’s headquarters at Wolfsburg, Germany, where he served as head of Production Strategy, Processes and Structure. Before his six years at VW, he worked for the global management company Oliver Wyman in a range of roles.
Wolfgang Dürheimer, chairman and CEO of Bentley, said of Bosch’s appointment: “He brings a wealth of production and commercial experience and we look forward to him leading our manufacturing and logistics operations as we enter an important period in Crewe.”
