Auburn Hills, MI. – Chrysler Group CEO Sergio Marchionne, who is running the thirdlargest US automaker as well as Italy’s Fiat SpA, said each company will need its own leader within 24 months. Marchionne is splitting time between Italy and the US trying to integrate the two automakers.
He said he’s working “seven days a week, 24 hours a day” during that process and must stay in both posts because “right now I am the only person who can guarantee the transfer.”
