Automotive manufacturing is on a long journey to sustainability. One of the major challenges in that endeavour is to decarbonise the steel production process. We want you to contribute your automotive manufacturing expertise and offer your industry insight.
Automotive Manufacturing Solutions, in partnership with leading sustainable steel supplier SSAB has launched a brand new industry survey to identify the key manufacturing challenges faced by automotive OEMs, tier suppliers and other stakeholders within the automotive supply chain in transitioning to sustainable steel - but to also highlight the positive opportunities this could bring to the automotive industry.
The survey, which can be completed here and whose findings will be published in April, will provide exclusive insight into the introduction of sustainable steel within the automotive manufacturing process. Additionally, the survey will offer further analysis into how these challenges are evolving, vary by region, and have different considerations according to where stakeholders are positioned within the automotive value chain.
Whilst focusing upon the immediate challenges for sustainable steel, the survey also examines a range of other factors including manufacturing processes, sustainability initiatives, recycling, and brand awareness.
Please take just a few minutes to contribute your views using the link below. Watch this space for a full analysis of the findings and insight into how market participants in different corners of the manufacturing space are transitioning to sustainable steel whilst navigating the unprecedented pace of change across the automotive sector.
To reward you for your time, all participants will be entered into a prize draw for a SSAB sustainable fossil-free steel watch, worth €600.
