Hardinge has announce the release of two new models of CNC turning centres, the GS 42 and GS 51, said to offer significant enhancements, being designed and manufactured to deliver exceptional accuracy and stiffness in a machine tool. The unique Hardinge collet-ready spindle provides maximum radial and axial rigidity, enabling superior surface finishes and improved overall component accuracy.
The GS 42 and 51 models feature the automatic gantry part exchanger, designed to easily connect with the Hardinge lathe for easy installation and transportation. The patented module pallet can adjust to fit a range of different work piece sizes. The slant design and auto centre adjustment enlarges work piece capacity, while also saving space.
