Third Dimension has launched the GapGun Pro, its flagship handheld laser measurement device. The company says GapGun Pro offers improved speed, ease of use, portability and ruggedness. New and improved functionality includes: ultra fast processing capability and a new VChange sensor system. The company says the GapGun Pro includes its ergonomic new VChange sensor interface, which allows the sensor to remove, swap and reattach sensors, making multiple sensor use on the shop floor easier.
 
Fully integrated Wi-Fi offers instant results access direct to the PC, with no additional hardware or cables required. The company says a multitude of surface finishes can be measured, using the system’s HiRange sensor technology. In addition, its patented adjustable laser cap can shorten or split the laser line to measure a range of complex features.
