USA – Gerald Johnson has been named as North America manufacturing vice president for GM.
He heads a function of 74,000 employees and 56 facilities including assembly, stamping, powertrain and component operations in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Johnson was previously executive director of global program quality and launch, and succeeds Diana Tremblay, who has become vice president of GM’s new global business services group.
