UK – The new director of the engine plant in north Warwickshire will oversee the launch of volume production for next generation engines later this year, as well as continued manufacture of current products such as the three-cylinder power units for the BMW i8.
Markus Fallboehmer joins Hams Hall from BMW’s headquarters in Munich, Germany. He has 14 years of experience in the automotive industry and has been working in the powertrain division at BMW since 2001, starting as a long-term planning specialist. Having progressed to senior management roles in production, Fallboehmer recently served as head of planning and production for the electrified powertrain division.
Nick Spencer departs after three years as director of Hams Hall, with plans to pursue other career opportunities.
