A major factor in the development of electric vehicles will be improving their performance, not in terms of speed or acceleration, but range. Improving the efficiency of the electric powertrains will be key to this and the need for suitable test processes will play an important part. To provide some insight into the requirements and challenges we spoke to Randy Beattie, president at SAKOR technologies, about the company’s experience in creating test systems for the latest EV motors.
