Seiko Epson Corporation has introduced the LS6, which within the automotive sector is ideal for companies looking to boost throughput when working with electronics components and other similarly-sized parts.
The new LS6 is the latest addition to the LS series of SCARA robots, designed for use in automated assembly and transfer processes. The new product comes equipped with a 600mm arm that is 50% longer than the original LS3 model. Maximum arm capacity is 6kg, twice that of the LS3.
The LS6 incorporates Epson’s Smart Motion Control technology, enabling rapid high-speed operation. Additionally, the 600mm arm covers a larger area, enabling smooth integration.
