Sony says its latest GS CMOS camera range features four models: the XCG-CG240/C and XCG-CG510/C, available in either black and white or colour. The company says the GS CMOS range features Pregius, a global shutter pixel technology, which it’s claimed ensures undistorted, high picture quality even at high speeds.
These cameras also feature Sony’s Exmor RTM, a back-illuminated CMOS image sensor with improved sensitivity and noise reduction. The company notes that GS CMOS cameras have numerous applications in the machine vision market, including automotive manufacturing.
