US – Mark Barnes will take up the role of vice-president, Sales at the start of February. He joins the company from General Motors, where he was vice-president of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales for the International Operations division.
Barnes has previously served in a number of senior positions at Volkswagen of America, as well as Chrysler and Hyundai. In his new role, he will report to Mark McNabb, chief operating officer, Volkswagen America.
