From Electrification to Advanced E/E Architecture, Functional Safety, Sustainability and more. Prepare for two days of insightful presentations from experts across automotive.
We are thrilled to announce the return of the US Automotive Wire Harness & EDS Conference to Detroit on October 19 and 20, 2023. Building on our successful 11-year track record in Europe, we are expanding our reach into North America to drive the development of wire harness and EDS systems, technologies, and innovations.
Last year’s US launch was a resounding success, and we are excited to bring this conference back to Detroit. We invite the wire harness and EDS community to join us for two days of insightful presentations that will showcase solutions, strategies, and tools across various key areas, including Electrification, Advanced E/E Architecture, Functional Safety, Sustainability, Mass Reduction, High-Speed Data Network, Commercial Vehicle Unique Topics, Simulation, and Labor/Complexity Reduction.
Our lineup of expert speakers will provide valuable perspectives on the latest industry topics. Martin Döring, Head of Innovations for Wiring Harness Systems at Volkswagen, will share an OEM perspective on the changes in the wiring harness. Kurt Seifert, Advanced Development Manager at APTIV, will discuss connection system design considerations for 48V wiring harnesses. Frédéric Holzmann, Head of Customer Architecture & Product Innovation, and Karlheinz Morgenroth, Head of Functional Safety at LEONI Bordnetz-Systeme GmbH, will delve into driving efficient zonal architecture through functional integration into zonal computers. Thomas Theuerkorn, Senior Precision Mechanical Engineer at Corning will explore the use of glass fibre optics as a mature alternative in emerging automotive data networks. Thomas Mathews, Engineering Manager – Charging Inlets, and Garrett McIntyre, Technical Solutions Manager at APTIV, will discuss the electrical interface management of EV charging inlet harnesses. Additionally, Daniel Metzinger, Physical Layer Design Expert at SPREAD GmbH, will present on achieving a 1 kg weight reduction through engineering intelligence - and that is just to name a few of the agenda highlights.
In addition to the informative presentations, this conference provides a unique opportunity for the entire automotive wire harness community to come together. OEMs, Tier1 and Tier2 suppliers, wire harness developers, and high-voltage specialists will gather for a valuable information and industry networking gathering.
Don’t miss out on this exceptional event. Join us and those already registered including; Stellantis, GM, Ford, Rivian, BMW, Volkswagen, John Deere and many more, in Detroit for the US Automotive Wire Harness & EDS Conference and be part of driving the future of wire harness and EDS systems.
