奥迪公司十亿欧元的综合生产线投资将在明年年底完成——AMS一探究竟地处慕尼黑北部因戈尔施塔特的奥迪总部，经过近几年的发展，成为集行政、技术与制造为一体的中心。其占地面积为210万平方米，有35,000多人在这里工作，已然是一个中等规模的城镇。 这一切归因于奥迪公司在过去十五年来取得的令人瞩目的成就。因戈尔施塔特每年制造近600,000辆车，成为欧洲第二大汽车制造厂。这里生产的掀背式轿车车体，是在匈牙利组装成整车。 横跨慕尼黑因戈尔施塔特、柏林及匈牙利的铁路主干线，为在喷漆场和整车组装厂之间来回运输车体、地方供应商的汽车零部件提供了交通保障。 虽然成就显著，但公司仍不安于现状，积极推进10亿欧元扩建投资项目，计划明年竣工。到目前为止，该项目中已建完最新A3系列的车身修理车间，除了活顶型轿车之外。另外，在该车间旁边正在建设另一个车身修理车间，主要服务A4、A5和Q5型车。当前，这些中档汽车的车身是在铁路的另一侧工厂制造，可以马上组装整车。 零部件生产：每天50万因戈尔施塔特的本地供应生产车间，为车身修理车间制造50多吨的模具，而每个新车模具的制造需要10个月的时间。 冲压车间每天需要1700吨钢铁和500吨铝来制造521,000个车身零件；7000吨的冲压在行业内可谓最具效率。质量与产量同等重要，即使是人的一根毛发参进去，都会造成严重后果。在因戈尔施塔特冲压车间已实现完全自动化，模具修改只需10分钟。 占地50,000平米、两层高的A3车身修理车间，拥有800名员工和800个工业机器人；而占地80,000平米、单层楼的A4/A5/Q5车间，则拥有1,800名员工和1650个机器人。自动照明控制和棚顶太阳能光伏电板是A3车身修理车间高效能的标志，既生产可再生能源，也降低运营成本。 A3车身修理间的突出优势之一，且继续应用于A4车身修理间的就是更小而更智能的Kuka机器人。例如，他们可以分毫不差的植入备用方案。 另外，运用远程镭射焊接技术连接钢护板，这是从目前的A4/A5/Q5型车身生产线上移植过来的，可以非常便捷而有效地制造细细的凸缘，能把单件的外门框和里面部分连接起来。A4家族车身修理间的自动化率98%，但新的车间开始运营后便会降到86%。这很大程度上是因为要使用大量的金属铝，并且需要铝与型钢的连接技术。 在因戈尔施塔特，每个车身都要经过30个镭射测量站，以确保公差低于0.05mm，焊接点也要接收超声波检查。每个月都有一个车身因电焊强度测试销毁。A4车间顶棚两端有固定的等离子管热熔系统，而A3则使用激光热熔系统，把金属铜融化在两端和顶棚之间。 手工装配，喷漆随后在车身修理厂，泡沫用来注入车身中空部分。油漆车间温度一旦达到180°，泡沫就会填充整个空间，提高驾驶室加密程度。 车体喷漆要经过翻转式浸泡，以及4次喷涂，三次烘烤的过程。每小时，就有170万立方米的空气进入有7个足球场那么大的过滤片，然后加热到对照温度。 在涂装车间经历9个小时之后，车体要通过一座桥运送到整车组装线，86%的操作由人工完成的。8到12人的几个小组轮班交换岗位，避免重复和单调。每个循环要89秒，那儿有蓝色的电绳系统，每有瑕疵都会提醒生产线经理。 首先是把车门拿走，然后把防护塑料盖定在外侧板上。地面滚动条免去了组装线工人的徒步，任何超过10公斤的东西都会自动提起。 电器组件、汽车仪表盘等内部装饰件安装完毕后，是由机器人安装挡风玻璃。地毯安装结束后，会有一场车身、底盘和动力装置之间的“婚礼”。发动机来自奥匈边界的工厂，但有些部分部件是在因戈尔施塔特完成的。 最后在通过检测线试车跑道之前要安装完座椅、车门等（高性能RS车会在高速干线行驶）。因戈尔施塔特一部奥迪车组装需要花费30小时来完成。 地面传送带“龙牙”会收起任何掉下来的部分，而灰箱在组装线的不同地点安装到车里，包括下一步组装所必需的所有零件。奥迪还通过研发智能螺刀来简化各种工作，加上人体工学座椅把工人转进汽车内部完成诸如仪表板安装等工作。一本二维码登记簿记录了工人在每一辆车的工作。 抬眼望去，A3组装线上预备了额外工作站，为即将投入生产的插电式混合动力车型做准备。
