The Car Paint Vision solution uses four robot-guided sensors within a production run, for the automatic inline inspection of painted car bodies says Isra Vision. The company claims that all relevant defects – (defects in coating and pigmentation, inclusions and craters, scratches and indentations) are reliably detected and classified.
The company says this system offers precise marking of defect locations and the complete inspection of the vehicle takes about 60 seconds. Its Paintscan solution
combines two surface inspection methods in one hybrid sensor head and is also available with deflectometry sensors, with phase-measuring deflectometry integrated into one of the sensor heads. The system can be retrofitted to existing plants.
