It all adds up to zero – counting the ways to net carbon zero manufacturing

To reach government targets, OEMs and tier-1 suppliers are increasingly setting out ambitious plans to reduce carbon emissions across manufacturing operations and the wider supply chain. In this session, Audi’s lead for coordinating sustainability in procurement, Johanna Klewitz, along with Lear’s environmental health chief, Jack Nune, share insights on the roadmap, processes, technologies and investments for net carbon zero production.

Klewitz and Nune discuss efforts including how Audi and Lear are working with the wider supply chain to decarbonise manufacturing, transition to sustainable materials and products, integrate circular economy principles and better track scope 3 supplier emissions.
