IntelliPICK3D sensors are pre-calibrated, come with an additional automated calibration of both sensor and robot as well as an intuitive menu, says Isra Vision, which is claimed to shorten set up times to just a few hours. The company says the system will handle varying container types and positions; in addition the fast collision check means that multiple parts can be gripped, without the risk of collisions and without an additional scan.
The system’s learning of new object shapes based on CAD data, allows dirty or shiny objects as well as complex object geometries to reliably recognised, it’s claimed. The sensors are equipped with WiFi and are compatible with Industry 4.0.
