The new MAG 20/2 tool magazine contains 320 tools HSK 32 on 2 storage plates, each with 160 tools, says CFT Rizzardi. The company notes that capacity can be increased by using additional magazine plates, each with 160 utensils and that the handling of tool holders is carried out with CTA type thrust pallets and powered by servomotors.
The magazine features a slide driven by a servomotor carrying an exchanger with mechanical gripper that picks up the tool from the magazine and transfers it directly to the machine, an external fixed station or a buffer magazine.
The company says the system can be supplied with an electrical cabinet for autonomous control, with a programming panel and dialogue function with the CNC machine tool.
