For water-based part cleaning processes, Ecoclean says it offers an extensive range of both standard cleaning systems and customer-specific designs. The company’s EcoCflex 3 features the Scara manipulator, which it says has been developed specifically for use in cleaning equipment, replacing the conventional adapted six-axis articulated arm robot. Made with high-strength aluminium and high-grade steel the unit is claimed to be resistant to high-pressure water jets and is submersible. The assembly can be operated via the CNC controller of the cleaning machine.
Equipped with application-specific process technology, the EcoCflex 3 enables the user to perform high and low pressure processes as well as injection flood washing flexibly in one cleaning station, claims the company.
