US – An investment of $9.4m over the next three years at its Dixon plant will enable the company to expand production capacity and supply multiple customers with products such as exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) coolers, tubes and thermostats.
Paddy Lange, plant manager Dixon, BorgWarner Emissions Systems, said: “Dixon’s infrastructure gives us the ability to meet growing customer demand in North America, which is likely to increase within the next few years.” The expansion will require an additional 40 staff across manufacturing and product engineering, supplier quality, supply chain, and technical and quality support.
BorgWarner Dixon currently covers 135,000 sq.ft and accommodates 210 personnel. It is certified to ISO TS 16949 quality standards.
