Bodo Philipp, with over 20 years of automotive experience at global names like Bugatti Rimac, Audi and Volkswagen, takes over as CEO of MHP Consulting UK. His mandate is to drive digital innovation, empower teams and strengthen partnerships with OEMs to navigate both traditional and EV sectors.

MHP Consulting UK has announced the appointment of Bodo Philipp as its new CEO, bringing with him more than two decades of experience in the automotive industry. Having held key leadership roles at Bugatti Rimac, Lamborghini, Audi and Volkswagen, across the UK, Germany, and Italy, Philipp’s career has spanned the breadth of the automotive sector, from luxury brands to mass-market manufacturers. Now, he takes on the challenge of steering MHP Consulting UK, a Porsche-owned subsidiary, through a period of rapid transformation for the automotive industry.

Reflecting on Williamson’s tenure, Philipp remarked, “Guy led MHP UK with passion, dedication and unwavering commitment to excellence. He transformed obstacles into milestones and built an MHP subsidiary grounded in integrity and innovation. On behalf of MHP, the team and I would like to express our gratitude to Guy for his contribution over the last five years.”

As he takes the reins, Philipp’s focus will be on driving growth through three core strategies. First, expanding MHP’s digital transformation services. Lastly, Philipp is committed to empowering the UK team, ensuring agility in their approach as they continue to grow MHP’s footprint.

Speaking on his new role, Philipp said, “I am delighted to have been appointed as CEO to MHP UK. MHP has a fantastic proposition to help guide the automotive industry in the UK into a digital future. I see my role in a dual capacity as both a thought leader and as a team and customer adviser. The Porsche-owned company is also expanding its use of metaverse technologies to address upskilling in automotive manufacturing. The company recently showcased a virtual production module that simulates complex processes like engine assembly in a virtual environment. With this technology, trainees can interact with virtual robots, parts, and systems in an immersive environment, enhancing safety and efficiency.
