Opportunity to see Chinese manufacturing in action with these exclusive AMS plant tours.

OPTION 1: Visit to Shanghai Volkswagen in Anting, followed by visit to TRUMPF Taicang.

Shanghai Volkswagen in Anting is where VW Santana, Passat, Polo, Lavida, Tiguan and Touran are made plus Skoda Fabia, Octavia and Superb. The plant's annual output is more than 450,000 units.

TRUMPF is one of the largest machine tool manufacturers in the world. In the Taicang plant near Shanghai, TRUMPF is producing punching machine and laser cutting machines. Moreover the high power laser application lab for China is located in Taicang.

 The company makes Cadillac, Buick, Chevrolet, in 21 product lines and almost 70 models, covering premium to economy cars, as well as performance luxury, MPV, SUV, hybrid and electric vehicles. A selection of these are manufactured at the Pudong plant.
