Watch: A holistic approach to sustainable vehicle production

This panel features Polestar, Volvo Cars, and SSAB discussing sustainability and how the industry is moving towards a greener model. The panel stresses there is still more to be done and going forwards there needs to be a holistic approach to whole-of-vehicle manufacturing, encompassing sustainable factories running on renewable fuel, green alternatives to products that generate high lifecycle emissions like paint and steel, recycling and circularity of tricky components such as batteries, and – trickiest of all – greening the extensive global supply chain.
